Trinasolar, a leading global supplier of photovoltaic and energy storage solutions, has announced that its factory in Yancheng, Jiangsu province, has been granted zero-waste landfill and zero-carbon factory (Type I) three-star certification by TÜV Rheinland, becoming the first company to obtain a zero-waste landfill certificate and the first in the PV industry to obtain both certificates from TÜV Rheinland. This sets a new standard in the industry and once again underlines Trinasolar’s relentless efforts in sustainable development.</p>

The Research Centre Academy of Trinasolar made the breakthrough with its innovative self-developed recycling technology, using materials including silicon, sliver, aluminium frames and glass recovered from waste modules. This is a significant milestone for the industry, and solidifies Trinasolar’s position as a leader in the sustainability space.</p>

Trinasolar, a global leader in smart PV and energy storage solutions, has supplied 308,000 Vertex bifacial dual-glass modules and FixOrigin mounting structures to the second largest photovoltaic farm in Poland, located in Przykona, in the Wielkopolska region. The plant, with a total installed capacity of 200MW, was built on the site of a former open-pit mine, significantly contributing to the green transformation of the country, and will produce enough energy to power 100,000 households annually.</p>
