Strongest 210mm modules to date well received by customers

Trina Solar has delivered its ultra-high power Vertex 670W module series to customer Schoenergie in Germany. Mass production of this latest and strongest 210mm module is already in full swing. The Vertex 670W module is designed to minimize LCOE in utility-scale projects and enjoys a highly favorable reception in the European marketplace.

With the launch of its 670W+ ultra-high-power modules in March 2021, Trina Solar led the industry into the 600W+ era and unleashed the full value of 210mm technology, bringing with it a sharp boost in PV efficiency and a decrease in LCOE. Cumulative global shipments of Trina Solar’s 210mm modules now exceed 16GW.

The 2022 World Future Energy Summit (WFES) is currently being held in Abu Dhabi, UAE. With the sharing of the same goal as WFES to accelerate sustainability and the global transition to clean energy, Trina Solar and UL have announced the latest study report on the CAPEX and LCOE of the modules 210-660W and 182-540W with different wafer sizes. The report is based on a simulated PV system with a DC capacity of 125MW at two different project locations UAE and Australia.

In late September, the first batch of 30MW Trina Solar 210 Vertex 670W modules was shipped to the Nandagang fishery photovoltaic project in the city of Cangzhou, in Hebei, northern China, and more modules are continuing to be delivered.
